#12 Birthday Celebrations of the 21st Variety

Friday the 9th
I've finally made it to my laptop to document it, but on Friday the 9th of September I turned 21! I spent the day in Windsor with my Mum, Grandad and brother for a spot of shopping and was treated to a large box from the Fudge Kitchen! So many calories, but so tasty ♥

In the evening, my friends and I made our way to my student house in Reading armed with alcohol and pyjamas... I was terrified that no one would turn up, but the pre-drinks session was amazing, so many people were able to make it! Seeing my friends from home and Uni having a laugh together seriously made it such a good evening, I wish I took pictures! We went to a small club in Reading called Rewind... And my liver hates me for it.

This is the only picture taken of me on my birthday. It's my course mate Lonneke, me, Abi (a friend from school), and Jonny, my old house mate who's also on my course. It's not a particularly flattering photo, but we all look happy! Plus, my eyes are open and I look sober, so it's instantly the best photo of me... Ever.

Saturday the 10th
On the Saturday, I had to get up early, barely alive from the night before, and make my way by train to Westfield Shopping Centre with my Mum to choose my parents' present. I found this beautiful rose gold watch from Folli Follie! The photo does not do it justice, the gold is much lighter than it is here.

My parents want to give me something else as well, something that I can always keep to remember them by. I've been looking at a key on a chain from Tiffany's? A key's meant to be quite fitting for a 21st. What do you think of this? I feel so spoilt, but they've told me that they don't mind how much it is.

Sunday the 11th
On the Sunday, my Dad took the family and Ben the boyfriend out to a meal at the Crazy Bear in Beaconsfield. If ever you want a meal to commemorate something, I completely recommend going to a Crazy Bear! It's such a beautiful place, I took loads of photos, including one of myself just chilling in the bathroom. The Crazy Bear in Oxford is apparently even crazier- definitely on my list of places to visit!

Although it was such a great weekend, I missed my Nan terribly over my birthday. It's the first birthday I've had where I've not woken up to a cheeky voicemail, or a massive hug and kiss as I walk through her door. I know she would have loved the Crazy Bear, she would have felt like a princess dining in there. And she would have adored my new watch. I think we had really similar taste in things, we always seemed to agree on everything!

That's my birthday weekend summed up in a blog. I can't believe I was dreading it, it's been such a good weekend! One of my next blogs is going to be dedicated to the clothes I've spent over £200 on in the last month, so it's safe to say that it'll be bigger than this one... Just thought I'd give some warning. ;)
